Zubby

My story started the day I was born.

Each chapter had it’s own characters and plot. Chapters 1-9 plot was Osogbo where I had major landmarks like Roseful and St Clare’s Nursery and Primary school. The characters in those chapters were really awesome that i felt the story won’t have any meaning without those characters and plot in chapter 10 of my story. The writer of my story changed the plot and I found myself, the main character, in Ibadan. Before getting to chapter 18 of my story, I felt the story would have ended, i mean Christ would have come before I get to chapter 20, but as the writer would have it, there was a plot change at the beginning of chapter 20 that brought in a beautiful character in my story.

This female character is one I feel everyone should have a feel of at least one of the chapters of their story. I am really blessed to still have her in my story in chapter 22.

You know just like some characters are really silent in the story when we are reading but if we can read the mind of the main character, the person really matters to him or her. That’s is the way this character is in my story.

Allow me to introduce to you, the beautiful, the modest, the amiable, the wise, the loved, the chosen, Zubby

My attention couldn’t help but notice the girl wearing glasses with her cute funny looking hair. You would have thought she was a deeper life girl with that hair. Lol. I heard her talk during Bible study review and I just knew I wanted to be her friend. As God would have it, other characters (Yemi, Buchi, Shola) came to light in photography class and we all got talking about Christ and purpose. Now that’s one thing I cherish so much about these set of characters in my story, they point me to the writer of my story.

Days rolled to weeks and the first 3pages of the chapter was over. Will she be in the next pages?

The writer of our stories, yours, mine, really knows what he is doing. He knows how he allows us take roles in each other stories. He is very strategic and He permits us to be blessings to each other. We learn from each character, we build from out experience with those characters in our story.

As God would have it, I still have her im my story. She is one of the characters I look up to, she is one person I am proud of and I wonder what story the writer is writing in hers. You know God has been on this character case for a while and I can’t keep calm about what I sense the writer writing.

Zubby, your character showed me I can have a beautiful relationship with Christ. It modelled friendship as I watched you and Buchi relate. I am extremely grateful to you today for being a friend to Buchi. You have been a blessing to him and he passed some of the blessings to me

Your character taught me gentleness. It is currently teaching me patience and trust in God. You are such an awesome person that I wonder how I was really loved by you. Thank you for understanding me. Thank you for believing greatly in me. Thank you for your words that come at the right time. Thank you for always telling me things

Incase you have met this character in your story or will still meet her and kinda didn’t understand her or just wondered who she is. Well, I am here to tell you that she is unique, she is priceless, she is a lover, she is a lady to learn from, she is one with so much understanding of things, she is one who is into Christ, she is kind. I mean Zubby is sweet, I feel she just loves me so much and I love her too. She is teachable and also a teacher. I love her heart and personality. Even though I don’t understand some of her decisions at times, I just trust that she’s doing it right with the Holy Spirit

You have a special place in my heart without making any special effort. I want you in my story till the end of it. You are important and I know there’s more for the characters that met at the photography class

Zubby, remember your birthday that year? The crew had to beg rabbi to cover up for us so as to make it there that day. You have always been loved babe. I remember one of the words that came that day which depicts a tree, I don’t know if you can remember, but babe, you are gaining grounds. I want to go back in time but I want you to know that it’s being awesome having you in my story. I am blessed.

One band One sound. That was how I describe my rabbi and A.rabbi. I can’t wait to see you guys soon. We all should catch up again as soon as possible

I pray for you today that the Lord will strengthen you all through. Generations need you and you won’t disappoint the father. You grow daily in knowledge and wisdom. You find favour in the sight of the father. The light I see in you will always shine brighter and brighter
